The Bea Connected Team Turns 4!

From Bea:

The Bea Connected Team started with my love for storytelling through social platforms and wanting to help a friend with her social media accounts back in February of 2017. After years of managing Facebook and Instagram at my (then) current position as an Admin in a local Houston private school, I wanted to branch out to other industries.

I grew my portfolio by helping friends and taking on small freelance projects here and there, while still working full time. It wasn't long before I was turning clients away because there were not enough hours in the day to manage a full-time job and a side gig.

I remember hating to turn clients away. I wanted to grow my side gig, (which was now turning into more of a business) but I was also nervous to leave the security of a full-time job, which I held for over 7 years, and I didn't want either one to fall short.

I also remember being excited by the idea that I could start a business of my own. After much thought and discussions with friends who had also made the leap from Freelancer to Business Owner, I decided to leave my job to focus on Bea Connected full time. It was scary, but so amazing!

Within three months I had doubled my clients and needed to hire a part-time Social Media Manager. While the business had its ups and downs as most businesses do, Bea Connected has turned into The Bea Connected Team a full-service Social Media Management Agency!

A few milestones we are proud of over the past 4 years:

- Helped over 50 clients (our very first client is still with us today!)

- Worked with over 35 industries.

- Began an Internship Program.
